The transfer takes place over the Internet once the user signs up for an account when they first install the app. The user doesn’t need a direct connection, nor do they need to connect to the same local network. What’s more, they can transfer the content over the Internet. Users can transfer website links, documents, pictures, video and more between machines running the app. After that, sending files between your devices is as simple as dragging and dropping or pushing the Share button. Then create a DeskConnect account from either version of the app and log in to all of your devices using the same account.
